Maggi's Linen

I enjoy working with this linen blend. It is easy to knit with and isn't rough on your fingers, probably because of the cotton in it. The ball comes as 3 strands but I am using 6 and it produces a beautiful fabric. It has a lot of drape and is soft to the touch. I purchased 2 skeins to alter a sweater I previously knit and am very pleased even though the dye lots are a bit different. It will work out just fine. I am thinking of knitting another sweater in the same yarn, but this time, with just 3 strans as it comes on the skein.

Purchased linen to make a dingle coat. I saw one in navy at last Maggie fashion show. So rich looking!! The linen works well even in Texas heat, can wear almost year round, Love it!!!

I love this yarn. I should say I’m not a knitter I’m a crocheter! Yes crocheting with this yarn is a little fiddley. It takes patience and absolute attention to each stitch. I listen to classical music and relax. Best therapy ever.
